Howie Kendrick is a great player to buy low on this season. If he comes out and hits .330+ and hits at least 15HR, he'd be a steal in drafts where you are selecting him after the 12th round or for $12 or under in auction drafts....
Question: What do you think Howie Kendrick will do this season?
Answer: I'm projecting a safe & modest .320+/10HR/70RBI/10SB/90+R in 2008 if he bats below the 6th spot. Kendrick has a great contact rate and has proved in the minors that he can hit well above the .330+ range. Kendrick sported a .359 career minor league average which was stretched out over five seasons, not to mention a .357 AVG after the All-Star break in 2007 for the Angels. If there was a time to buy Kendrick low, this is the last year you may have the opportunity. There is also a chance he can grow into a 20+HR threat and when you combine that with a .330+ potential AVG, thats deadly!
