The Fantasy Man joins FanDuel.com

The day has finally come! After six years of helping fantasy sports players win their leagues as The Fantasy Man, building a podcast, a blog, website and a brand, it's time to take these experiences to the next level. I have joined the team at FanDuel as their Customer Support Manager.

FanDuel.com lets you play and win at fantasy sports in a day instead of waiting the whole season. Players can draft a new team at any time, and pitch it head-to-head against a single opponent - or a league of opponents - for real money. The player whose team has the most fantasy points after the games have completed wins the cash prize.

This is the future of fantasy sports and I am happy and lucky to be a part of it from the beginning. My job is to create a successful user experience. So if you have a problem, an issue, a question, you can submit a support ticket and get a response from a real person. Of course, we have an extremely helpful FAQ/help page, so reading through that first should answer all your questions.

As for The Fantasy Man and Fantasy Baseball Express, I'll most likely still be posting up rankings and advice at my usual pace (slow in the summer, heavy in the winter) but may start winding down at some point. We do however still have the NL King on board to help provide some additional content and some others who like to chime in once and a while.  So I'd say we'll continue on like normal but not sure what I will do about the podcasts yet, I guess we'll see how it goes.

Also, if you'd rather not see Fantasy Baseball Express die or would like to take over The Fantasy Man persona, I'm willing to talk about letting these domains go. I'd be willing to put them up for sale. I have every fantasy sport "express" domain and could be a sweet boost for someone new in the business to start a new fantasy website/brand and already have traffic, SEO, and advertisers already built in. Interested? Let me know.

Anyway, so give FanDuel a chance. It's a great site, it's a great game, and we're working daily to make the site the best out there. We have so many new features planned over the coming months that it would be stupid not to try it out, especially with football season coming up.

Thank you everyone for the support over the last six years! It's been a lot of fun and I've communicated with a lot of great people over the years. Keep that love for fantasy sports! There's nothing like it! Thank you.

Mike
